Fog
is really a cloud on the ground. If you look real close you can sometimes see
very tiny drops of water floating in the mist. It only forms when the humidity
is very high, the air is colder than the ground, and there is a very gently
breeze. If there is no wind to move the air around, fog doesn’t form. That’s
why it looks like it is creeping over the land. It often forms near water or
very moist fields. It will usually be denser out in the country. Our fog normally
forms in the winter months. That’s when we get most of our wet weather.
